Moscow, Russia -- JSC SITRONICS (“Sitronics” or “The Company”) (LSE:SITR), a leading provider of telecommunications, IT and microelectronic solutions in Russia and the CIS, with a growing presence in other EEMEA emerging markets, today announced that a part of its INTRACOM TELECOM subsidiary, INTRACOM MIDDLE EAST, is deploying the WiMAX network for ZAIN Bahrain, one of the leading telecommunication operators in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The US$ 10.2 million project is expected to be completed by the end of September 2007.

INTRACOM MIDDLE EAST deploys a turn-key ISP network using WiMAX access technology to provide mobile, fixed and nomadic voice and data services over the air.
