The ExpressCards, Powered by Wavesat’s chipset, will Provide WiMAX
Portability for Existing Fixed Networks

WiMAX ExpressCard for laptops. |
The ExpressCard is
Powered by Wavesat’s Evolutive™ NP7256 chipset, supporting 802.16d+,
enabling nomadic and portable devices as defined in the WiMAX ETWG
profile. The device also offers the competitive advantage of backward
compatibility with IEEE 802.16-2004 fixed WiMAX systems enabling these
devices to be seamlessly introduced into existing networks. This product
Series offers enhanced indoor reach through uplink subchannelization.
