Availability of the S600 Series of Stand-Alone Modems
New Products Will Focus on Growing M2M Market Opportunities

SAN DIEGO, CA - Franklin Wireless Corp. FKWL -4.12% , the market leader
in dual-mode WiMAX and CDMA modems for 3G and 4G wireless broadband data
communications, today announced the market launch and commercial
availability of its new S600 Series of stand-alone modems. The S600
Series represents an innovative, reliable and cost effective solution
that enables OEMs to easily integrate cellular connectivity into their
products. The primary market opportunity for the S600 Series is expected
to be the rapidly growing machine-to-machine (M2M) space and supports a
wide variety of products and applications including digital signage,
veending machines, utility meters, surveillance cameras, point-of-sale
kiosks and many other products that require wireless remote monitoring.

product samples and are currently using them for testing and evaluation

The S600 Series includes the S600 which is a dual-mode WiMAX/CDMA
stand-alone modem, as well as the S600C and S600W which are single-mode
versions that operate over CDMA and WiMAX networks respectively. These
products are powered by Franklin's M600 Series of embedded modules that,
in addition to M2M devices, are designed to be embedded and integrated
into laptops, netbooks and tablet PCs.

The S600 Series of stand-alone modems supports Windows(R) 7, Windows

environmental conditions.
