Companies Will Focus on US and Canadian Fixed Broadband Wireless Access and WiMAX Markets

CHICAGO, IL -- InfiNet Wireless, a global provider of Broadband Wireless Access and pre-WiMAX equipment for last mile connectivity, today announced that the company has signed a value added distribution (VAD) agreement with Chicago-based Communication Technologies International (CTI), a wholesale distributor of technology products specializing in wireless broadband technologies. Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will focus on developing vertical markets for ISP/operators, IP video surveillance and public safety arenas in the rapidly growing markets of the US and Canada.

CTI, one of the largest wireless system integration companies in North America, core businesses include value-added system integration for ISP, operators and municipalities, and government agencies requiring leading-edge wireless network technology. Working with leading prime contractors, CTI has a comprehensive network of reseller partners across the continental United States and Canada, and has successfully completed a multitude of commercial telecom and public safety projects.

"The expansion of our international presence in the US and Canada is an important milestone for InfiNet Wireless," said Robert Stubblebine, CEO of InfiNet Wireless. "Our customers will greatly benefit from this strategic business partnership with CTI, which comes on the heels of InfiNet Wireless obtaining FCC approvals for our broadband wireless products and the successful completion of several key US trial deployments."

"CTI has distributed a wide range of wireless products over the years, but InfiNet Wireless represents a distinctive combination of carrier-grade routing systems with the ability to seamlessly switch to bridging and meshing," said Marc Kruer, chairman of the board of CTI. "This is truly unique capability, and we are confident that it will be strong differentiator for InfiNet Wireless."

InfiNet Wireless provides Fixed Broadband Wireless Access equipment, including indoor and outdoor wireless routers, router accessories and VoIP equipment, to telecommunications carriers, internet service providers and enterprises worldwide. The company's wireless routing equipment is especially applicable to regions with complex wired infrastructures where infrastructure upgrades require costly or time-consuming activities.
