Releases the Tempest TE19 Tower
Vancouver, Canada (April 29, 2005) — Argus Technologies, designer and
manufacturer of DC power solutions is launching the first tower in the
Tempest enclosures series. The Tempest Tower is designed to meet a
wide range of 12, 24 and 48VDC power and back-up applications to meet
WiMax and utility market requirements. “At 13 inches wide, 13 inches
deep and 48 inches tall, the system is compact, and easy to install as
either a wall mount or pole mount system.” says Argus Product Manager,
Doug Wicks, “The combination of features makes the Tempest Tower a
very effective solution for remote outdoor power applications”.
The Tempest Te19 Tower is designed for a wide range of compact power
and battery run-time requirements. With a NEMA 3R rating (IP55 rating
option), this environmentally controlled tower is a compact self
contained outdoor power system that includes the Argus Cordex™ CXCI
controller, Argus Cordex rectifiers and AlphaCell™ batteries. The
AlphaCell standard Gel battery is a sealed, maintenance-free, VRLA
battery with lead calcium grids for improved performance, longer
runtimes and extended service life. The CXCI controller provides
complete system monitoring and control via web browser either by a
local or remote connection. All system parameters can be monitored and
adjusted through a password protected web page.
