MÁLAGA, Spain -- CETECOM Spain (Centro de Tecnología de las
Comunicaciones, S.A.) announces that the BITE RF Tester has undergone
validation in BTI and was found validated by the Bluetooth® SIG for
testing Bluetooth Specification RF 2.0+EDR, 1.2, and 1.1 plus the
Baseband physical tests in version 2.0+EDR, 1.2, and 1.1.
BITE becomes the first test solution validated for Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
and will be the basis for qualification of such devices.
The BITE RF Tester supports the eight (8) RF EDR (Enhanced Data Rate)
test cases specified in the TCRL (transmitter and receiver) and
additionally, the two (2) BB EDR test cases (TP/PHYS/TRX/BV-06-E EDR
Guard Time and TP/PHYS/TRX/BV-07-E EDR Synchronization Sequence and
Trailer). Low rate RF test cases have been validated too.
The BITE Protocol Tester has also undergone validation in BTI and was
found validated by the Bluetooth SIG for testing 2.0 + EDR, 1.2 and
1.1 of the Baseband, Link Manager Specification.
The British company RFI (Radio Frequency Investigation Ltd.) provided
an efficient external support for the validation activities.
