As the European leader in

groundbreaking platforms for remote controls, that were unveiled for the
first time at IBC 2006: With VOCO and SLIMLINE, ruwido is pioneering the
next trends in terms of intuitive usability, design and material
aesthetics and manufacturing. VOCO, SLIMLINE as well as a selection of
ruwido’s leading OEM solutions for Pay-TV and IPTV operators will be
shown at Broadband World Forum Paris at the ruwido stand # 9998.
VOCO is the name of a modular technology platform that is able to
incorporate features like SIM-Card, fingerprint identification, a
microphone for voice communication and a camera for video communication
– customisable to the demands and business models of any digital
operator. VOCO technology can be integrated in an ambient way: in any
input device such as remote controls or keyboards to make new content
and services accessible for the subscriber. The fingerprint scanner
replaces the need for entering PIN codes and makes parental control as
easy and safe as shopping applications. The VOCO technology platform can
create new possibilities for up-selling/cross-selling, enhancing
subscriber loyalty and integrating applications like voice and even
video telephony – predestining the remote control to become an important
revenue generator.
SLIMLINE is the next generation of standard OEM remote controls by
ruwido, designed to seamlessly integrate into living room life styles in
terms of styling, quality feel, user experience and design trends: Slim,
sleek, stylish and in-tune with consumer life style trends, SLIMLINE
individually supports the brand of operators and manufacturers with its
multitude of surface designs, materials and surface feels, from glossy
black polycarbonate glass to iridescent ivory-tone and champagne-tone.
As it is typical for ruwido, all SLIMLINE models come with that
unmistakable quality feel and zero-percent failure rate, that ruwido is
owing its unique position in the industry.
