Shirin Dehghan, CEO of Arieso commented: "We
have been working with this Operator for a number of years and it has
put our software through extensive and detailed trials. We achieved the
buy-in of the senior management and a 200-strong engineering team by
demonstrating that we have the technology and capability to roll out
this tool on a massive scale. This is a major win for Arieso, and to
have been chosen over incumbent suppliers confirms our place as the
market leader for network optimisation software and support."
Arieso was invited to pitch for the contract based
on its already extensive relationship with the carrier. The selection
process was lengthy and thorough to ensure that the chosen provider
could meet the demands of a very large network and meet very rapid
timescales.
Paul Turner, Vice President of Global Operations at Arieso, explains: "Arieso
was awarded this contract because we had already demonstrated the
technical superiority of our solution and our ability to deploy our
products and support this operator on a nationwide basis. We also proved
that we could meet the exacting demands of this new roll out - including
the ability to complete the implementation and training for the
ariesoACP software within a one month period. We are confident of
meeting this tight deadline and that the carrier will see rapid
improvements in its network efficiency and capacity."
The ariesoACP software will be deployed on the carrier's GSM/UMTS
network to enable its engineers to optimise the local site count,
antenna configuration, and power settings, according to both regional
and national technical and financial goals. The carrier has also bought
into the Arieso vision for self-healing networks, and the two companies
worked closely together during the development of Arieso's recently
launched geo-location software. ariesoGEO links seamlessly into the
underlying ACP software to improve subscriber experience and increase
efficiency across the network and pave the way for dynamic optimisation
software to be deployed in the near future.
