PG&E Executive Andrew Tang as EVP Corporate Strategy, Development &
Utility Channel

San Francisco, CA, - Scientific Conservation Inc., (SCI) a leading
building energy management company for the $5 billion commercial
building market, announced on May 31 that it has named Andrew Tang,
Executive Vice President, Strategy, Business Development & Utility
Channel. In his new role, Mr. Tang will drive overall market strategies,
formalize growth opportunities and develop utility initiatives for the
company's existing and emerging technologies. |

Prior to joining SCI, Mr. Tang spent four years at Pacific Gas and
Electric Company (PG&E) as the Senior Director, Customer Energy
Products. In this role, Mr. Tang managed a 500-person team charged with
developing products, services and rates for PG&E's 12 million customers
to encourage energy efficiency, demand response, and accelerate adoption
of distributed generation and electric vehicles. He also led the program
for PG&E's upgrade to its second generation SmartMeter™ and was
instrumental in engaging and contracting with early stage technology
companies focused on energy. Mr. Tang was also responsible for the full
life cycle of product development and played an active role in numerous
proceedings before the California Public Utilities Commission to seek
approval and funding for several key initiatives.
Prior to PG&E, and from 2005 to 2007, Mr. Tang was the Director of Intel
Corporation's WiMAX Solutions Development, Europe responsible for
advancing WiMAX as the 4G networking standard in the region both through
entering into commercial agreements with third party telecom carriers
and through strategic investments from Intel Capital.
Prior to working at Intel Corporation, Mr. Tang was an Investment Banker
from 1990 through 2005 working primarily with Montgomery Securities and
Greenbridge Partners, LLC.
Mr. Tang holds a Bachelor of Arts, Mathematics and Economics from
Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT., and studied International
Economics and History at The London School of Economics, London,
England.
