Solectek Expanding International Distribution, Introduces Certified Reseller Program for its SkyWay and SkyWay-MAX Series of Broadband Equipment

Other Topics: WiMAX Carrier-Class Mesh Networking, Multi-Gigabit-Per-Second Wireless Fiber, Certified WiMAX Broadband Equipment, WiMAX Consumer Equipment

Solectek Corporation
January 10, 2007

Solectek Corporation is soliciting inquiries from qualified wireless distributors for international markets in order to support its successful product lines. The company, which already distributes its SkyWay™ series of unlicensed frequency point-to-point and multipoint radios in many international markets, is now implementing a Certified Solectek Reseller program for its WiMAX platform. This will ensure that distributors and system integrators are trained properly and that products are warehoused and immediately available in key geographic markets. The SkyWay-MAX platform is available in the 3.5GHz licensed frequency band, with additional frequencies following in mid 2007. In addition to base station and subscriber station products, Solectek also has an advanced EMS, or Element Management System, which enables its distributors to offer an end-to-end, turn-key WiMAX solution.
Complementing the SkyWay-MAX platform, Solectek’s 7000 Series for the unlicensed 5.8GHz market continues to see tremendous growth. With data rates to 108 Mbps and up to 400 mW of RF power, SkyWay 7000 delivers excellent capacity, OFDM spectral efficiency and QoS features. Solectek’s current distributors have also experienced success with the SkyWay 4000 Series, which operate in the 4.9GHz band. All Solectek high-powered radios have patented adaptive-polling software, which allow very high data throughput, flexibility, scalability, and security.

The company will demonstrate its products at the WiMAX World Europe show May 29-31 in Vienna, in addition to other major shows in 2007. Distributors interested in acquiring new product lines should contact corpdev (at) solectek (dot) com.
