Metuchen, NJ -- Berkeley Varitronics Systems, Inc. has received multiple
orders for their popular handheld Mantis Bluetooth analyzer.
"The government aerospace sector is constantly looking for ways to
maintain wireless security and mitigate RF hackers of Bluetooth which
aligns itself well to our Mantis Bluetooth analyzer. The Mantis(TM) is
unique in that it scans the 2.4 GHz frequency band and report signal
strength in real time, as well as provide (PER) Packet Error Rate, and
the devices MAC Address. Since the Mantis(TM) both receives and
transmits it has the ability to interrogate Bluetooth enabled devices
and discover what device parameters and service levels they have access
to. There is even a 'Privacy' mode that prevents other Bluetooth enabled
devices from discovering the Mantis(TM) analyzer while you are
interrogating them. " says Scott Schober, BVS President & CEO. |

Mantis(TM) can also ship with an
optional DF (Direction Finding) antenna for precise location and
pinpointing of any Bluetooth device. BVS has been building and
delivering Mantis(TM) transceivers all over the world for the past 7
years. Visit http://www.bvsystems.com for Mantis and many other 2.4 GHz
handheld instruments.
