Point-to-Point Wireless Broadband Solutions from Stratex

Stratex Networks delivers licensed and unlicensed point-to-point wireless broadband solutions. They offer all the radios, cards, Intelligent Node Units (INU), software licenses and antennas you need for an integrated network.

The Stratex Networks portfolio of wireless Ethernet links includes two powerful platforms, with both Licensed and Unlicensed band solutions.

Licensed Point to Point Broadband

Eclipse 50 Mbps Full Duplex Ethernet
The new and innovative Stratex Eclipse platform provides advanced features and ultra-reliable operation in federal or FCC common-carrier bands, with Fast and Gigabit Ethernet options and aggregate links speeds up to 600 Mbps.
  • Advanced Nodal Wireless System. A compact and modular indoor unit enables optimized PDH or SONET wireless nodes, supporting up to six independent radio paths and software-configurable traffic routing, eliminating cables and patch panels.
  • Broad frequency coverage. Eclipse covers a wide array of licensed frequency bands from 5 to 23GHz for long distance trunking and short haul access applications.
  • Super-PDH Networking. Eclipse Super-PDH provides software-scalable capacity from 4xDS1 to 100xDS1, removing SONET multiplexers and synchronization equipment from the access network.
  • Ethernet Data Transport. Eclipse Connect combines Ethernet data plus DS1 traffic, with built-in prioritization and VLAN support, with up to 200Mbps of guaranteed aggregate throughput. Additional options are available for Gigabit Ethernet transport over 155, 311 or 622Mbps throughput.
  • Ultra-High Capacity. Eclipse Quattro provides a cost-effective alternative to traditional trunk radio systems in a convenient, split-mount design, carrying up to 400xDS1 or 4x155 Mbps, with optional Cross-Polar Interference Cancellation (XPIC).
  • Increased Network Reliability. Eclipse increases network reliability by combining interference-free Licensed frequency band operation, industry-leading equipment availability, and guaranteed data throughput.

Featured Product: Eclipse Connect IP

Licensed Reliability with a Reasonable Cost and No-Hassle Licensing
The Eclipse Connect IP, a 23GHz, 45Mbps licensed Ethernet link that can be purchased for what you would expect to pay for an unlicensed link. This product is ideally suited for Wireless ISPs, Schools, Hospitals and Enterprise businesses concerned about the reliability of their unlicensed systems. It's also very effective for previously rural areas that have grown rapidly, bringing increased chance for signal interference.

The 45Mbps Licensed Eclipse Connect IP operates in the 23GHz range, comes in four channels and has 45Mbps of full duplex Ethernet throughput. Stratex also offers a simple FCC licensing solution - just complete a simple one page form and order TESSCO part number 498843 from your TESSCO representative and Stratex takes care of the rest of the process.
