802.16 Analysis Tools

802.16e BS & MS Transmitter Testing

Overview

SeaMAX Mobile BS IQ Analyzer is IEEE 802.16e-2005 OFDMA PHY Base station signal analysis solution. SeaMAX Mobile supports 1.25, 3.5, 7, 8.75, 10, 14, 17.5, 20 and 28 MHz bandwidths and let’s configure the acquired rate. SeaMAX Mobile provides the flexibility either to configure the PHY parameters such as FFT Size and cyclic prefix or to select the option to auto detect these values. The import function loads the IQ signal files (individual or combined IQ files) from .txt file format. The analyzer lets you save the decoded data as a HEX or Binary file, visualize and analyze the transmitter parameters including effect of impairments like fading channels, frequency offsets, IQ mismatch on the downloaded RF signal.

SeaMAX Mobile BS IQ Analyzer plots the transmit power level, based on the strength of the signal received from the base station transmitter. Plots such as EVM and constellation confirm the signal quality. It provides the flexibility to analyze the Burst of choice and to save and print the plots.

SeaMAX Mobile BS IQ Analyzer includes the basic and advanced features to analyze Mobile WiMAX complaint signals.
