test setup scenarios to test - PCMCIA cards, 802.11 embedded devices
in handsets, PDAs, laptops etc. is it possible to test these devices
with your test suite?
Yes it is possible to test 802 .11 PCMCIA cards and laptops with
WiLANTA LVSA11bg.
Set up to test PCMCIA cards or laptops: The Device under test i.e.,
the PC card or Laptop must be configured to transmit to a similar
device or the two devices must be configured to communicate with
each other. In this scenario WiLANTA LVSA11bg should be configured
as a Sniffer with the same parameters as the device under test to
capture the signals transmitted by the device under test. With this
captured information you can perform online analysis on PC cards or
you can save the information for offline analysis.
The set up to test the PC cards is shown below where PC card 1
communicates with PC card 2 and WiLANTA LVSA11bg acts as a sniffer.
