SeaMax IQ Generator

802.16d BS & SS Receiver Testing

Overview

SeaMAX IQ Generator Pro designed to generate ideal/impaired IEEE 802.16-2004 OFDM PHY compliant RF signals in real time. The software also creates baseband I/Q waveform file based on the user-defined Base Station (BS) and Subscriber Stations (SSs) settings and saves the signal files in .txt format on computer’s local hard drive or any other specified location.

The generator provides functionality to create WiMAX TDD frame with user configurable downlink and uplink bursts. It provides an intuitive graphical user interface to configure uplink and downlink waveforms, CP, BW and Frame length as per standard specifications.

To verify receiver robustness, SeaMAX IQ generator Pro provides various additive impairments which can be added to the test signal and the configuration can be saved in .txt format. These signal files can be downloaded to AWG for IF/RF signal generation or SeaMAX Fixed IQ Analyzer Pro/Third party analyzer for analysis.

SeaMAX IQ generator allows WiMAX equipment manufacturers, chipset developers, designers and RF engineers to test both subscriber and base station’s receiver functionality throughout the development phase of their products.

Easily create signals to evaluate the performance of your radio designs, and the components that comprise them, under various parametric and functional test conditions at baseband, RF and microwave frequencies.
