WiMAX 802.16 2004 OFDM
PHY/Overview |
|
|
Mathematical models
of 802.16-2004 (OFDM PHY layer) available. |
|
|
Main module |
Front panel for selecting parameters for
running the transceiver such as data rate , channel model, number of
packets .etc for simulation
|
|
WiMAX
802.16 2004 OFDM PHY Transmitter module |
Complete transmitter functionality of
the PHY layer.
|
|
WiMAX
802.16 2004 OFDM PHY Receiver module |
Complete receiver functionality with
front end algorithms like channel estimation, timing synchronization,
frequency synchronization, phase correction etc.
|
|
WiMAX
802.16 2004 OFDM PHY Impairment module |
Allows the user to add impairments such
as AWGN, frequency offset, channel models, I/Q imbalance etc.
Each functional block is implemented as a separate function file and
is called by the main module during execution.
The model provides for the facility to visualize the performance
related parameters such as:
Constellation plot
Power spectrum (Baseband)
TX power
Eye diagram
CCDF
EVM
There is also a utility to
perform the PER simulation for various channel impairments/SNR.
The code is completely visible and the user can drill down to each
function.
This model has all the transmitter and receiver functionalities.
The channel models available for 802.16 (WiMAX), are SUI channel model
1 to 5. The current 802.16 model supports OFDM, and does not support
multiple antennas as of now, 802.16e SOFDMA will be available soon.
Performance plots of PER vs. SNR for each standard/data rate
/modulation scheme under various channel impairments will be provided
on request.
